Katie and Mike's journey began in Baltimore back in 2017 on Katie’s first day at Stanley BLACK+DECKER. An undeniable spark ignited between them right from the start. While maintaining professionalism, Mike consistently found ways to draw Katie closer to him, claiming he NEEDED her assistance with his MBA paper but really just wanting an excuse to hang out at the local bar together.

Their relationship progressed further when Mike and Katie relocated to Seattle to advance their careers. There, they bonded over their shared passion for attending sporting events, discovering new places, and treasuring moments with their friends and family. Their story continued to unfold as they welcomed a Bernedoodle puppy named Grizzly, which symbolized the beginning of their own family.

In 2022, they made the move to New York City, driven by their eagerness to be nearer to loved ones and pursue new career opportunities. Despite the whirlwind of relocating to three different cities within six years, their bond grew stronger with each new adventure. On November 18th, 2023, Mike surprised Katie with a proposal on the promenade of the Inner Harbor in Baltimore, surrounded by their family and friends. The couple is eagerly anticipating tying the knot where their love story originated, in the presence of those closest to them.
